Previously, on Wannabe Indie Gamedev...
You might remember and even wonder that the title of the previous edition was If someone tells you that one game developer won't get far, show them this, and after reading it (for which I'm forever grateful, as always) you wondered: what a clickbait! what about the topic?
Well, I kind of have written this title long before, and then I decided to finally switch to beehiiv. What new things it will add? Time will tell. I hope you'll like the changes :-) The email template is not final ;-)
Will I ever return to the aforementioned topic? Yes. But not soon. I need to distance myself from it. There are more items on this list than should fit an e-mail :-)

Recommendations
Earlier this year, I finished a game titled Rogue Legacy, NoClip decided to publish a Making Of of the sequel. It's pretty enjoyable. My favorite part is seeing how 2.5D games (gameplay is 2D but graphics is 3D) look from a... different, non-game angle. A fascinating lesson for an aspiring game developer. See for yourself. It's a marvel of smoke and mirrors ;-)
