Christmas time!
Time to share a special wafer!
This issue will be mostly about what’s most important at Christmas!
And that’s presents! 😉
And boy, do I have a present for you!
The wonderful people at Developer Roadmaps made two very special (and very useful for us) roadmaps for aspiring game developers!
Each of them will introduce you to the very basic terms one needs to succeed. What maths is needed, what physics is needed, and what game AI is needed. After this, you will be capable of understanding all these terms when learning game development. Server Side gives you knowledge on what to look at when you’re passionate about the other side of gaming: the MMO, live services, and such.
Enjoy! (can’t wait myself to delve into them)

The Steamworld people share some insights about making a city-building game on the consoles.
Yet another interview with Gavin Eisenbeisz, creator of Choo Choo Charles. Interesting to hear, although very long.
Searching for open-source tools for game development? Here are some?
And Mark Darrah, on the importance of triage:
Question to you
This month I wanted to try something different. Instead of having a weekly recommendation section have a monthly recommendation mail.
What do you think?
Did you prefer getting them recommendations instantly? Or having them sometime after isn’t such a bad idea?
Thanks for the presents! :)
